Dr. Cary was raised in Hollis, Oklahoma. While growing up on his family’s small farm, he learned the meaning of early mornings and hard work. He was behind the wheel of a tractor before the age of 11. He still enjoys traveling back to southwest Oklahoma to quail hunt with his dad.
He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and molecular biology. After earning his undergraduate, he worked for the Oklahoma Dental Foundation, where he served on the MobileSmiles Oklahoma program, coordinating care for underserved rural areas of the state. Dr. Cary’s higher education took him to New York City, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry.
Once he completed his schooling in New York and finished practicing in Texas, Dr. Cary and his family were excited to move back home to Oklahoma. Lexington Dental’s name was inspired by the street they lived on in New York City, which was Lexington Avenue. The years they experienced there were fun and memorable, and they wanted to bring that part of their New York journey back with them to Oklahoma.
Dr. Cary is married to his high school sweetheart, Lauren, and they have a four-year-old son, Calum, who keeps them on their toes! They are also welcoming a new baby girl in November of 2022. You can see Lauren working alongside Dr. Cary in the office, making sure everything is organized and running smoothly. They and our team work together to help you learn to love your smile.
